Funded by the Department for Education
Our programme is free for all school aged children 5 to 16 (reception to Year 11), who are eligible for benefit related free school meals. During the summer holidays, there will be a fantastic range of exciting indoor and outdoor activities to choose from. There will also be a healthy meal on offer at every session attended.
Check if you’re eligible
If your child is school aged 5 to 16 (reception to Year 11) and eligible for benefit related free school meals, they’ll be able to attend our different activities. If you are not sure, please contact your child’s school to check.
What you can book
You can book up to 64 hours of activities per child over the summer holidays, this can either be the same activity or it could be an opportunity to try a selection of new activities. At each session a healthy meal will also be provided – so no need to send a packed lunch.
How you can book
You can book online through our booking system.
We understand that occasionally children will not be able to attend session, please can we ask that you cancel your child off the session using the booking system, so that this frees up a space for other children as places are limited. Please note that repeated ‘no-shows’ may result in you not being able to book future sessions for your child.
If you need help to book sessions or have any questions please email us at HAF@herefordshire.gov.uk
Not eligible for HAF?
We’re still here for your Herefordshire holidays! Check out our list of local activities below.
