Help keep local footpaths tidy

If the footpaths and drain covers in your street or local area are starting to get overgrown, why not volunteer some time to help remove the unwanted weeds?

Please make sure you only remove weeds and not flowers, you wear gloves and appropriate high visibility clothing, dispose of all weeds in council green bags or in your composting and stay safe when carrying out your weeding. To find out more about green / garden waste and composting, visit Herefordshire Council’s website.

Did you know? You can also report any overgrown public footpaths in your local area? It’s quick and easy to do and it will help Herefordshire Council and Balfour Beatty Living Places take appropriate action, to ensure our footpaths are safe and clear for everyone to enjoy. To report a public right of way problem, visit Herefordshire Council’s website.

We’d love to hear what you’re doing, use #GiveAnHour on social media,  or just drop us a line.
