Help a local community gardening group

Opportunities:

Hereford Cemetery Crematorium Grounds is looking for regular volunteers to join its team, helping with tasks such as weeding, caring for memorial trees and planting. You don’t need any particular skills, just an enthusiasm for the outdoors, an interest in landscapes and sensitivity around cemetery life.

Hinton Community Garden, based in Hereford, is looking for people to help out in their garden and greenhouse during the summer, with a range of different tasks, whether it’s looking after the plants and vegetables, watering or weeding. You don’t need to have any specific gardening experience, just some enthusiasm and the willingness to get stuck in and get your hands dirty.

Hunderton Community Gardens Association, based in Hereford, need volunteers to help with general gardening tasks, including looking after vegetables, fruit and flowers, on a Thursday afternoon from 2pm (evening opportunities can also be arranged).
